Beaumont C.O.P. Board of Governors 2007-2008

(Objectives for the Board of Governors)

The COP Board of Governors:

·         shall act as a service and administrative Board for the Beaumont Citizens On Patrol organization.

·         are responsible for monitoring and ruling on compliance with the By-Laws of the Beaumont Citizens On Patrol organization.

·         are responsible for amending the By-Laws as deemed necessary in compliance with the directives of the By-Laws.

·         shall promote the recruitment of new members to the organization.

·         shall promote the maintaining of patrol hours.

·         are responsible for setting training sessions and maintaining the integrity of the training format.

·         shall be the coordinating group to maintain compliance with the directives of the Beaumont Police Department and Neighborhood Associations.

·         are responsible for the Annual Awards Meeting and the annual COP/BPOA Picnic, assuring that these functions occur in a quality manner.

·         are responsible for decision-making relative to the Scholarship fund.
