Membership Drive

The Citizens On Patrol is the best form of crime deterrent in any area, and more people patrolling means more eyes and ears on the streets to assist our police officers. So it is for this reason we continue an ongoing membership drive that is essential to people learning and participating with us to help make our streets and neighborhoods safer. Our membership drive takes on many forms. We set up booths at Malls for passing out literature on crime prevention, advising citizens what our program does, and signing up interested volunteers. We work with the Law Enforcement day - again setting up C.O.P. booths, and assist different Neighborhood Associations by helping out with their Night Out Against Crime. Word of mouth is also a strong way of increasing community awareness about the C.O.P. program, and to let people know that there IS a way that they have been empowered to take back our streets from criminals.
